We are Parable Trust

Parable Trust is a Christian not-for-profit organisation working in the marketplace to build, support, and strengthen businesses and business leaders under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

For over 20 years, we have been walking alongside business leaders, helping to develop and acquire businesses that create employment, operate with integrity, and generate resources to support the work of the Christian message of hope around the world.

Our Foundation

The name Parable Trust comes from the Parable of the Talents:

“To one he gave five talents… to another two… to another one… The one who had received five talents went at once and put his money to work and gained five more.”
(Matthew 25:14–30)

We believe we are called to faithfully steward and multiply what God has entrusted—not to hold back, but to multiply our talents for the work of His Kingdom.

A Call to the Marketplace

We believe the marketplace is central to the Kingdom of God.

Jesus spent more time meeting people in the marketplace than ministering in the synagogue.

Across the world, lives can be changed through meaningful employment in companies that genuinely care.

The gospel can be demonstrated through actions, not just words.

Integrity can be restored to the business world.

Innovation and quality products can serve people well.

Resources can be generated to advance the gospel, charitable work, missions, and create other businesses.

Our primary work is to support and encourage Christian leaders who want to see their businesses aligned with God’s purposes.

What we do

We work with Christian business leaders and entrepreneurs in a number of ways:

Prayer and fellowship through our regular gatherings for leaders
Events, including our annual Sowers and Reapers Day
Advice, support and prayer in real business situations
In some cases, walking together more closely, supporting businesses over time at a strategic level

Our approach is relational. We do not offer services in the conventional sense; we walk alongside those who are seeking to follow God in the marketplace.
